The Cooler Master Stacker combines innovative design which supports standards such as ATX, BTX, Dual Power Supplies, modular device bays and a very effective Cross Flow Fan system that provides extra cooling to heat critical components and motherboard areas.

The interior is equally impressive with spacious design and a positive locking rail system that is proprietary to the Stacker case that ensures your devices can be serviced with ease.This sliding rail system attaches to each device that you want inside the 5.25" drive bay area, this facilitates any device being quickly removed and installed in a matter of seconds and then locked back into place with a flip of a locking lever that’s part of the locking rail system.

To compliment the Stacker series, the cases are available in Silver, Black and Blue. Each color theme will ship with the exact same accessories and configuration and gives the end user a choice of colors to choose from. The chassis edges are cold rolled for your protection and offers environment friendly installation and servicing.

The Cooler Master Stacker offers superior air flow thanks to the frontal flow system that allows cool air to be drawn into the case from the front drive bay panels. Each panel is grated with micro-dots that allow air to pass through panels. Inside of each panel is a foam filter insert that helps filter out dust and pollution from household and business environments. With the optional Cross Flow Fan in place the stacker can draw in fresh air from the side of the case via the ported side panel that comes standard on the Stacker series case.

   

This is a heavy duty case that uses thick 1.0mm standard secc steel plate and it's heavier than most cases in its class. The Stacker comes with honest to god casters to allow one to roll the tower as in a server environment. The interior is large and will easily accommodate water cooling kits and had plenty of room for the accessories minded. The case allows for a second power supply unit and the bottom of the Stacker has a removable steel grate that will allow cool air to pass-thru aiding in additional cooling or for additional tweaking and modifications. The first thing that comes to mind is Prometia Cooling! Anyway that’s another story...

   

The Stacker allows up to 12 (11 since the front control panel occupies one bay)drive bays to be utilized at one time. Depending on configuration and 4-n-3 modules you can stack in any order any number of devices in each of the 12 drives bay slots. Hence "Stacker" get it? The Stacker comes with huge 120mm Fans in both front and back of the case and an 80mm exhaust port at the top of the case. This case can handle up to eight fans in all. In our configurations we are going to use the bottom PSU port as a dual 80mm fan exhaust system. Let's check out the Stacker a little closer...

   

The PSU housing like the rest of the case, has cold rolled steel edges to make sure that you don’t get subjected to a "gotcha" otherwise known as finger torture. Cooler Master was thinking ahead of time and decided to make this case as user friendly as possible with such features and design. The bay area is huge and space is large and premium. You can stick three hard drives into the 4-in-3 module and then place the module in anyone of the 12 rack spaces, just remember this modules takes up 3 drive bays.

   

Look at this floor design! Not only will it help keep the chassis cool, but the expandability this case creates is super! I can imagine a cooling system coming up out of that space, all one has to do is remove the grate and BAM! Nice new intake system or room for a remote cooler like the Vapo-Chill systems.

   

On the rear of the Stacker we have a nice huge 120mm fan port waiting for something great to happen and what we mean by this is water cooling! This will be a great place for a external radiator which we will show later on. On the bottom side to things I popped off the second PSU panel at the bottom of the case and will pop the 80mm rings and insert 80mm Fans onto this bracket panel.

   

The Cooler Master Stacker has unique locking rail levers that allow you to either use the rails on the devices you decide to install into the Stacker bay area or directly bolt the devices in place like you would a normal case. This design allows the user to choose between the two options. For our configuration we are going to use the rails on our bay devices.

   

The locking levers work very easily. To lock in place you simply pull the lever towards the front of the case in the home position. To un-lock you flip the lever back towards the rear of the case to un-lock the devices. You can choose which devices to lock and un-lock for user convenience.

   

These are the 5.25" drive bay grills, they are made of plastic, metal and foam. The grills are grated to allow air to pass through them. This aids in cooling the Stacker. Each grill has a removable foam pad that acts as a filter that can be removed and washed in cold water and re-used after cleaning.

   

This is the Stacker front control bay. With this device you can run up to 6 USB ports, microphone and headphone jacks along with a fire wire port. Also on the control panel is a master on / off and reset switches. This can be placed in any position in the bay area, but for ours configuration we prefer the default location at the very top.

   

The clever 4-in-3 device module allows you to attach up to three hard drives inside the module. This will allow you to pull out the drive bay as a single unit allowing quick access to the devices you may have installed inside the module. To keep things cool the module contains a 120mm fan to force fresh air into the device area to keep hot hard drives running cooler. The module also features rubber grommets to dampen noise and vibration. These work very well and gives a near silent treatment to noisy SATA drives that one might use.

Stacker Accessories

If you like the module and need a second or even a third 4-in-3 module then you can purchase these separately. Also as an option to the Stacker is the very trick looking and highly functional Cross Flow Fan.

   

The cross flow fan is a super option that attached to the inside interior wall and draws fresh air inside the case from the side panel port holes. This will greatly improve air flow over system critical components, mother-board and the on-board peripherals.

   

Also available is the optional side window panel. Once you have decked out your interior with that hot new water cooling system or tricked out the inside of your stacker case, you can show it off by purchasing the side window kit. The window looks awesome and adds to the over all appearance of the Stacker case.
