RightMark Memory Analyzer v3.41

RightMark Memory Analyzer v3.41 also put some perspective on this ram. We actually took this test before pushing the FSB to 240 x 17.0, however its still accurate at 236 x 17.0. Let's take a look:

Once again this system is stable enough to bench and play games, this is a sign this ram can handle the 600 MHz + over-clock.

Synthetic Tests:

  • Real Read Bandwidth Average: 5515.30 MB/s
  • Real Write Bandwidth Average: 2406.64 MB/s
    • Real Read Bandwidth Maximum: 7174.46 MB/s
    • Real Write Bandwidth Maximum: 5008.59 MB/s
  • Read Latency Average: 45.02ns
    • Read Latency Minimum: 44.32ns
    • Read Latency Maximum: 50.92ns

  • Actual RAM Bandwidth Average: 3111.40 MB/s
    • Actual RAM Bandwidth Maximum: 3516.36 MB/

Final Thoughts:

At first glance we thought this is was just going to be another DDR2 review, well we where wrong. This ram not only lives up to its name and reputation but it literally wipes the competition clean with the fatest bandwidth we have seen yet on a Intel based DDR2 platform. This ram is significantly faster than the "675 MHz" ram out on the market. It out performs the PC-5400 DDR2 standard while being rated at PC-4200 DDR2 533 MHz.

Mushkin sells directly to the public allowing the consumer huge discounts over other tier one manufacturers. Mushkin is constantly improving there product and there effort's are paying off. While the traditional green pcb board's are used with these modules the samsung modules scream with bandwidth. Mushkin has outclassed the competition and provides entry level users to enthusiasts some of the fastest DDR2 available.

Our rig tapped out at 240 Mhz FSB using a Pentium 4 550 3.400GHz, pushing the CPU to a 4.080GHz over-clock and thats amazing! Hat's off to Mushkin for this extreme performance offering.

This is simply the fastest ram we have used in this rig!
