As always, Mushkin is one of the first companies to release new memory for overclockers and PC enthusiasts. So no surprise that these DDR2-4200 dual channel kits are now available from Mushkin. Designed only for motherboards supporting this new type of 240 pin DDR2 memory.  
Mushkin's DDR2 memory is designed for use in the latest generation motherboards. DDR-2 picks up where DDR left off with bandwidth up to 5400 GB/s and plenty of room to grow. These are 240 pin, unbuffered, non-ECC modules. DDR2 consumes 28% less power than first generation DDR allowing for higher clockspeeds and reduced latencies. While DDR2 is making its rounds in the enthusiasts world these modules have significant over clocking head room and often outclass the competition at an affordable price directly to the general public. Mushkin's PC2-4200 DIMMs are rated to operate at 266MHz while maintaining 4-4-4-12 memory timings configured at 1.8 volts. Samsung chips are used for this module at DDR2-533.

These modules look and run excellent, we are so suprised at the out of the box performance that this ram is truely going to be the best bang for the buck in its class. DDR2 is rather pricey at this time, however Mushkin is providing this ram at prices better than the competition. The modules are often shipped with different color heat spreaders, upon ordering your modules, you might want to ask what you're options are as far as heat spreader colors.
