That's right, we are back with a new version of our favorite NiBiTor software which is the original GeForce series BIOS tweaking software, providing support for the latest NVIDIA graphics cards and is updated on a regular basis. With NiBiTor we provide graphics card enthusiasts or hardcore overclockers full control over some advanced features and functionality found on firmware of supported cards. And by doing so users can gain some extra performance, enable certain hidden features, tweak memory timings, access device related information, adapt bootup settings, change fan speed options and even get extra stability using their NVIDIA based graphics accelerators which will just give them that little extra value. - mvkTech NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) v6.02 Program Released
Since we did receive quite few new firmware images and just wanted to make an extra effort for the many laptop owners, we did include several updated for these. And as we already advertised previously this version also includes support for the GeForce GTX 550 Ti accelerators. Of course, if you somehow find that your own card is not yet supported, we encourage you to share the original BIOS with us which will allow us to code the support in an upcoming version. The best way is to share through our forums by also giving the specifics and brand, which makes it more easy to verify the details we discover in the actual firmware. Changes in this Version - Added GeForce GTX 550 Ti
- Added GeForce GT 440
- Added GeForce GT 330
- Added GeForce GT 130
- Added GeForce G 100
- Added Quadro 600 (Fermi)
- Added GeForce GTX 470M
- Added GeForce GTS 425M
- Added GeForce GTS 350M
- Updated GeForce GTX 460M
Some might say that GeForce GTX 590 support is missing somehow, and that is a rightful comment. This is actually because we saw some negative news about cards and overclocking too high causing these to get burned. While we do want to offer these GeForce GTX 590 owners everything to overclock and unlock, we also are a bit reluctant to just break your expensive cards. We do know that the issue is somehow resolved with the newer drivers but we remain causious. Yes, we do have an exclusive version available which supports these cards and more mobile series currently only after donation to support the further development. We also would like to invite you all to share your feedback or ideas, that way we can take those into account. We might not be able to do everything that would be asked, though it will give us the opportunity see what you are looking for in any upcoming versions. On top of that, we would like figure out the full fan speed logic for the Fermi series and would like to get whatever that could be helpful.
