Well we have just released the newest version of NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) software. NiBiTor is the original and definitive BIOS tweaker that supports the latest NVIDIA graphics cards, and which is updated on a regular basis. NiBiTor allows graphics card enthusiasts, or the hardcore overclockers to have full control over some advanced features and functionality found on firmware of supporting cards. And doing so users gain some extra performance, enable certain hidden features, tweaking memory latencies, provide extensive information, adapt bootup settings, changing fan speed options and/or get extra stability on their NVIDIA based graphics accelerators which will just give them that little extra value.
Just a bit earlier than expected and because we gotten much feedback as well as some donations, we had the idea that releasing the next version a bit earlier. Again we want to thank you all for the support through donations, and we do hope you will all enjoy this new version. The following release will have more support with extra focus on the notebook graphics devices, as we know that quite a few want to tweak those or play with the clock speeds.
For those who already own one of these just released GeForce GTX 550 graphics cards, don't dispere but make a donation and we will grant you exclusively the next version which does support these already. Also the fan speed that can be tweaked by changing the minimum and maximum settings, so we did get that also already fully unlocked. And yes, we are now working to add other tweaks by analyzing more original BIOS's which you can provide us. Do you own one of these Fermi based graphics cards and want to tweak it according to your liking through some BIOS changes, than don't wait any longer but download it now.
