As you might have seen our initial goal for raising some funds around the development for NiBiTor did fail, though we did get some interest from users so we are left with mixed feelings. As such you all have got a new chance to show if you want us to release new NiBiTor versions. And no we won't do such fund raisings every release, maybe just once a year and that merely to thank and support the developer and show your appreciation!
Just to remind you all about the real reason why we have gone for a fund raising and that is simply because for the last 4-5 years we have been bringing new versions very regularly throughout the year and this always taking into account new features or feedback that some of you have shared. To keep on doing this and bringing you the best NiBiTor program you can think of we are now turning towards you to somehow show how much you like us keep on doing this? Frankly speaking we invested a lot of time and effort into the tool and very rarely got a donation in return which does give a general bad feeling.
This your chance to really show us what you think, is this a waste of time and should we just drop it? Or should we just introduce for every release a standard price next to it? Well we really do want to keep this program free, though the idea would somehow be that every user who likes NiBiTor or that has used it in the past would just donate $1 or more, and we would be happy to keep on developing further versions as the year evolves. So in the end it is all up to you to just ChipIn and keep us going!
