Gaming Benchmarks We will start to go over some of the current popular games and check out how well the GeForce 6800 Ultra does on those in terms of performance and image quality. So let's dig into some games...

Men of Valor supports a maximum resolution of 1280x1024 and we will test this game under these conditions. We used the 4xAA and 8xAF, while the game is very demanding we can see Men of Valor tax the card considerably compared to other titles using the Unreal Engine. Being said the game play is nothing short of outstanding and very smooth. The sweet spot for our configuration playing this title was 1024x768 screen resolution.

Science has unlocked the gates to the unknown, and now only one man stands between Hell and Earth. A sci-fi horror masterpiece, Doom 3 is like nothing you have experienced. Dramatic storyline, pulse-pounding action, incredible graphics, and revolutionary technology combine to draw you into the most frightening and gripping first person gaming experience ever created. When benchmarking Doom 3 we found that our game caps off at 60FPS no matter what settings we used. So all of the test became somewhat redundant in nature. While we didn't run the command line benches we focused on the superior game play we experienced using the GeForce 6800 Ultra PCX and these benchmarks are not to be scientific at all. We want the average end user to be able to pull off the same methods and understand them as well and with Doom 3 nothing more can be said about a block buster game other than what an amazing title.
