When we talk about the TOP edition we can't just skip the fact that ASUS also has a standard version of the Radeon HD 3870 which they released the same day as ATI announced this new graphics card. Next to that ASUS is also tweaking their cards to squeeze some extra performance out of the cards and these are going by the TOP suffix. And this means that ASUS is tweaking their standard version to give an extra boost during games and this is generally done by increasing the core and memory clock speeds. These card are tweaked from the factory, though share the same warranty but do come at a higher price.

We are happy with the performance of the ASUS Extreme AH3870 TOP video card. It performs very well for the price and ASUS has a nice bundle that includes Company of Heroes with the card. The factory overclocking of the card is very nice and on the whole the ASUS Extreme AH3870 TOP edition is a good option for the many ATI fans.
