Clearly game play is enhanced using these Everglide headphones. During first person shooters like the titles we have used below came alive with adding senses to your game play. We started relying on the headphones audio positioning to alert us of approaching enemy giving me a few extra seconds to accomplish my task. Knowing the position of the opposition is a tactical advantage when ground pounding. What we found was really great about these headphones; you can turn them down to lower volume levels using the master volume control and still have excellent audio positioning.

Who doesn't know Quake 4? Well, Quake 4 the long anticipated sequel comes alive with a really awesome audio system and the s-500 Professional Gaming Headphones enhances this title to another level. Quake 4 is old school now, but for testing purposes this title was amazing with these headphones, almost bringing new life to our experience. Rich high fidelity 3 dimensional sound in this title makes it just that much better. If you used regular speaker headphones to play this game back when it was hot, you have heard nothing yet! These gaming headphones do justice to the excellent game title.

X³: Reunion is a sequel to the award winning X²: The Threat game. Extensive development has gone into the X³ engine, making use of DirectX 9.0 technology, to create dramatic visual effects and stunningly realistic starships. Coupled with the massively enhanced artificial life system, X³: Reunion will present players with an ever changing, evolving universe; where a players action really can shape the future of the universe. Using the Everglide s-500 Gaming Headphones with this game can submerse you into a trance with audio effects all around you. Our experience with this game was absolutely awesome, and we felt immediately absorbed by the game itself.

Once again with a much older title like Far Cry, our experience is all new with being able to listen to this game in a totally new sound environment. Since we are using this title just for testing these headphones, we decided to keep the title on this test rig and play it once again to experience the new sound environment using these headphones. We can see now just how much we were lacking in the sound department before using these headphones. Sure we did have some nice normal headphones, but these Everglide s-500 Gaming Headphones makes this an exceptional gaming experience. It really makes these titles more appealing than before and that's a good thing.

Doom 3 set new standards in PC entertainment and while this is another dinosaur of a title, the game play is still amazing and full of excitement. Using the s-500 Gaming Headphones on this title has the overall effect as with all the other titles testing, it truly adds new life to these titles. This really shows me what we were missing by using standard stereo headphones as compared to these s-500 Gaming Headphones. It's just amazing to hear this title using these headphones. We were able to find creatures faster and pin point there location with excellent accuracy whether they were in front or behind us. That does it all, these headphones designed by Everglide are just awesome and provide excellent sound and gaming fun.
