It's time to open up the Team Group plastic package and get a look at what we are dealing with. Having removed the memory from the blister pack, we notice the heat spreaders on the Team Group Xtreem PC-4000 2GB kit are golden, as these are part of the high performance Xtreem product line. The lightweight design and shiny golden heatsinks are awesome and stylish to say the least. This pair of memory comes in a dual channel kit to ensure compatibility of running dual channel on either an AMD or Intel platform.

First impressions on these modules are cosmetic impressions; simply put these are some dynamite looking heat spreaders. The mirrored golden finish looks really good and gives these modules a nice look, while providing the more than enough heat dissipation capabilities. Contrasted with the red ribbled product logo and specifications, these modules look really good. But how will they perform? We will get the low down later on...

Aside from these logos tattooed to the sides and the stickers with the modules information, there are no other markings or identifiers on Xtreem PC-4000 Cronus Edition ram sticks. As already mentioned these modules come with a reflective finish, which is clearly seen from the reflection in our images.

The Team Xtreem PC-4000 Cronus Edition dual channel modules are almost completely covered by the golden heatsink, meaning that heat spreaders come wrapped around the entire PCB. However, the top of the module isn't covered. Not only that but if your rig is set up with UV and lamps then this ram will give off some rather cool effects with its mirror finish. This ram is totally awesome looking, what more can be said about such handsome modules.

Sweet looking, aren't they? I very much like the look and weight of the spreaders; while light in weight they do have a solid dense feel to them.
