With a 2GB memory capacity, the NF95 has the memory storage capabilities that will enhance the performance of most applications and game titles. 2048MB is now the standard and having the extra capabilities ensures the budget minded consumers can still enjoy a powerful computing experience for pennies on the dollar. Let's not forget the NF95 is Dual DDR ready, that's right dual channel DDR folks on a board that will cost you less than a tank of gas. The I/O is loaded, plenty of expandability with LPT1, 4 USB, LAN, Serial, VGA, PS2 mouse and keyboard and 5.1 sound taboot.
The infamous nForce chipset, you seen one you seem em all - well not quite. The NF410-A2 is an NVIDIA attemp at chip level integration with the GeForce 6100 integrated GPU. The MCP51 is packing both MCP & GPU on a single chip while running dual channel memory functions, keeping everything in check.
ABIT likes to keep it's CMOS, SATA ports and south bridge chipsets on the lower right of the mother board keeping the typical NVIDIA reference design alive and well. All the headers and jumpers are located along the leading edge of the PCB in the typical fashion we see on most nForce designs, nothing new here.
A close up of the BIOS chip, SATA II connectors and related components, the red jumper is CMOS clear, next to the on-board squawk box (speaker). For a Micro-ATX design, this board has just about every feature found on fully loaded high-end ATX boards. RAID, dual channel DDR, LAN, USB, etc., etc. Let's go stuff some hardware in this puppy and see what we get - out of the box.
