The Signature Series are Wicked Lasers first limited edition lasers. The transformation starts with a Fusion laser and a Master Carver. An elegant, yet powerful dragon design is first drawn by hand onto the Fusion. This process takes about 2 hours due to the fine precision movements the Master Carver must make. The second and final step is the most daunting task by the Master Carver. Using a sharp carving blade, the Master Carver must trace and etch the exact design drawn previously by hand. A single minute mistake and the carver must begin again with a new Fusion. Three more hours of painstaking carving makes the transformation complete. After each unit is completed the Master Carver leaves his signature on the Fusion. He then numbers the laser from 1 to 10 in the order that it was forged.

Master Carver, Sun Guoxing is a member of the World Special Artists Association of the Singapore Xing Zhong International Art Society of the special art committee of China. At the very young age of 12, Sun studied advanced techniques for metal carving. At age 16, Sun was already well known in China for his metal carvings. Shortly he moved to Shanghai and became a mentor for aspiring metal carvers. In 1998, Sun Guoxing carved what would be his most famous work; an official stamp for US President Bill Clinton.

Each completed Signature Series laser comes with an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy casing with laser-etched Dragon designs. These casings are available for sale but the Signature Series lasers will not be sold. So how can you become an owner of a Signature Series Fusion?

There will be three Signature Series Fusions given away on Laser Community. The Signature Series Fusions come from Wicked Lasers www.wickedlasers.com who is sponsoring this event. Three winners, one from each contest thread will be chosen to receive the Signature Series Fusion on 9/17/2006 11:59PM PST.

Here is how you enter:
There are three threads in the General Forum of Laser Community, each is an opportunity to win. To make an entry, simply post "I'm a laser enthusiast." in the appropriate thread.

The contest threads:
#1: Public - Open for all and everyone is eligible to win
#2: Wicked - Eligible only for customers of Wicked Lasers.*
#3: Community - Eligible only for posters with 250 posts and more.**

Rules and small print:
Remember, only one entry per household, if we find that you are making multiple entries under different usernames and IP's, your entry will be disqualified.
* No purchase necessary, however, in order to enter in the 2nd contest thread, you must have purchased at least one laser item from Wicked Lasers. If you purchase a Wicked Laser after the contest has begun, you are still eligible to enter in this contest thread.
** Minimum of 250 posts must be attained by the start date of the contest 8/17/2006 11:59PM PST. Posters who reach 250 posts after the start of the contest will not be qualified to win.
