First off, the craftsmanship is superb. Professional hand engraving is of a Chinese dragon which wraps around the entire length of the laser case. The detail is amazing, showing the talons and scales of this mythical beast throughout the artwork. Ironically, the underlying metal is zinc plated and gives off a golden finish below the etching, effectively adding to the beauty and over all finish. The glossy black finish and golden dragon compliment the gold hardware and looks totally sweet. It's hard to believe this laser packs over 125mW of 532nm laser power and looks so cool.
Let's get a close up look at the detail this beauty has. This thing is awesome and with only 10 in existance it will be the rarest of all Wicked Lasers product's. Each Signature Series is hand numbered and signed by the master artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity directly from Wicked Lasers. This laser is not for the everyday users looking to perform the typical experiments these lasers can perform. Instead, these are minted as Limited Edition collector pieces. While it can be used for such deeds, I would not want to use this laser for anything other than a keep sake, its sheer beauty and over all packaging turns this laser into a work of art.
A close up reveals the signed and numbered specimen and some of the detail of the 125mW Limited Edition green laser. Some of you will look at this like, ok so it's just an Executive Series - Fusion with a dragon it so why pay the extra for the pretty artwork? Well, guess what? These aren't for sale, you can't buy them, you can't get them for any price, anywhere. So how do you get one? We will tell you how, just keep reading.
The case is equally impressive with hand engraved dragons and scenary from top to bottom. Each case is engraved to match the Limited Edition lasers and is truly a one of a kind product from Wicked Lasers. It's totally kick ass! The inside of the case is lined with a protective liner that holds the Signature Series laser into place for safe keeping and is just slightly bigger in size. The two go hand in hand and are only available from Wicked Lasers as they see fit to release them. How the rest of the specimens will be allocated will remain a mystery. We can only assume it's a marketing tactic, however who ever receives them in what ever fashion, we can only drool with envy...
