The ICY BOX IB-NAS2000 arrived in a well designed box that shows the actual design of the enclosed network attached storage enclosure. The box reveals quite in detail which ICY BOX model we gotten in our hands and that it can be used on Windows and Mac compatible PC's using the USB and/or Ethernet connection. As indicated this is a case for 3.5" hard disks, which is very handy when you want to expand the storage space on your desktop without going through an expensive upgrade. When looking a bit closer at the package, we can see that RaidSonic hasn't spared much effort to give a good impression of their ICY BOX. And they certainly succeeded.

The box is attractive and lists only the main features on the front. What does come handy with this box is that you can actually carry it easily as it comes with a retractable handle. On packaging their products RaidSonic certainly knows their world. It is simple though professional to attract potential buyers. And frankly it shouldn't be more than, cause getting the attention by the box alone does sell more items. On each side of the box it shows some extra details, like the features and specifications as well as the series model information. The bottom side of the box has information on the enclosure in 3 different languages.

Turning the package around we get to the back of the box. The back of the box is revealing the specifications in more details and also provides a drawing related to the use of the NAS2000 network storage solution. All in all the packaging is well thought out and provides enough information on the product itself. So we can say that RaidSonic has made an excellent package with lots of information put on the box to make clear what this product is capable of in terms of external storage extension.
