Forsa GeForce 7900 GT 256MB PCI-E Review
Written by Mavke

Overclockers Club comes with a review on the Forsa GeForce 7900 GT 256MB PCIe graphics card. Forsa, a company that not many people have heard of, has finally emerged into mainstream electronics. They offer medium, as well as high-end, video cards and are trying to compete with other mid grade manufactures. We will be looking at its GeForce 7900 GT, which is one of the higher end NVIDIA based cards, the so called little sister of the fabled GeForce 7900 GTX. The card comes shipped in a simple though attractive box, with the main specifications on the front. Nothing really special, as the Forsa GeForce 7900 GT is following the NVIDIA reference design.

The card comes with a beefy copper GPU cooler with a near silent fan on it; this cooler is affixed with four screws. There was, however, no cooling provided for the RAM on this card, which was a mild disappointment. Being a fairly power hungry card, it also ships with a PCI Eexpress power plug on the side of the card. This is to provide the beast with the power it needs. When looking in from the side of this card, you can see that the cooler is composed of a copper plate that is affixed to the GPU, with folded copper fins that comprise the rest of the cooling surface. All considered this is just a reference NVIDIA board design.

Wow. As you have just witnessed in the results provided, the GeForce 7900 GT is a real looker of a video card. Steadily stomping the other cards in all categories, the GeForce 7900 GT is definitely one of the kings of performance. At higher resolutions, this video card really starts to shine, beating the other cards by quite some frames. If you are looking for a new video card with the latest in technology that will give you stunning performance in all games now, and in games to come, then this Forsa GeForce 7900 GT is definitely the card for you.
