Comparison: DDR vs DDR2
In brief both systems where put at stock settings, both using 800MHz FSB and at this configuration current DDR2 has a slight edge over performance of the Mushkin LII V2. While the two configurations are drastically different the synthetic results are apples to apples when it comes to memory bandwidth.
These results strickly show how much data is being processed at the memory level, so in that regard we find that the results are a rough estimate and does not reflect what you or anyone else will realise. On our systems these are the results and they may vary from what you or anyone else can achieve.
