Based in Denver, Colorado, Mushkin has released the latest in there Black Hi Performance LII V2 series, the PC3200 DDR 222 Black Hi Perf LII V2 memory modules.

The LII V2 series are Mushkin's top of the line latest and greatest high performance PC-3200 memory, offering low latency, passive heat spreader which serves a dual role in that not only does the spreaders keep the memory chips cooler, the spreaders also protects the black PCB and its population from any abuse.

Each component is hand picked, tested and assembled in the U.S.A. to ensure high performance, rock solid stability. On todays platforms, Mushkin is one of the leading ram manufacturers with the highest capability rates on the market. What's this mean to you? Performance, stability, compatibility & reliability... Out of the box each 512MB modules are set to a SPD programming of 2-2-2-6 using a 2.6V. Mushkin recommends 2.6V-2.8V for maximum performance.

Dual channel packs come with (2x 512MB) PC-3200 222 LII V2 for dual channel operation or for those who want 1024MB for single channel mode this ram pack can accomodate that as well. Being a matched set this product is better suited for dual channel configurations.

The heat spreaders are rugged, interlocked and double clamped for proper contact with the intergrated circuits and do a great job of spreading the thermal load. The black PCB and speader on this memory is also known as the Darth Vader Modules in the tweaker and overvolter realm.

In these photo's we are trying to show off the 16 Samsung K4H560838F IC's that are underneathe the heat spreaders. The IC's have a cycle time rated at 5.0ns and are the latest SEC TCCD design.

We are really impressed that manufacturers and still pushing DDR to its limits, this will ensure the DDR standard will have a slightly longer end of life cycle. Essentially future proofing DDR for at least another cycle, gives the consumer super fast memory at very good prices.
