Coming from CPU3D is a review on the Gainward BLISS 7600 GT Golden Sample graphics card. Gainward has always produced some of the most sought after graphics cards on the market. They are among a few manufacturers to produce the 512MB versions of GeForce 6 and 7 series. They are also known to select the better GPU's from NVIDIA for their graphics cards, and these go by the Golden Sample extension. Sounds very interesting, all thanks to their marketing department, but the Golden Sample proved very popular among enthusiasts. The Gainward BLISS 7600 GT Golden Sample card features 256MB GDDR3 memory rated at 1500MHz with the GPU core running at 575MHz.
Gainward BLISS 7600 GT Golden Sample Review
In an attempt of overclocking the Gainward BLISS 7600 GT card we use CoolBits that detected as optimal setting a GPU core of 596MHz and memory of 1680MHz clock speeds. With some manual overclocking and tweaking of the BLISS 7600 GT we should be able to reach some higher speeds both on core and memory. So therefore, we can deduce that with the right cooling and voltage adjustments, there is a lot of room for further overclocking this card. The Gainward BLISS 7600 GT Golden Sample as a standalone graphics card is an attractive package and performs quite well in the current popular game titles.
It performs very well at high resolutions with settings at maximum, and in SLI mode the performance is actually better than a single GeForce 7900 GT card. If you want a SLI rig with performance that won't hurt your pocket, then two of these BLISS 7600 GT's are ideal. Let's face it, how many users would actually invest over $1200 on a pair of GeForce 7900 GTX in SLI mode for gaming, only to find your investment will become obselete within 6 months. I know that would really hurt me. In fact as we speak, NVIDIA has already unvieled their latest Quad SLI card the GeForce 7950 GX2. So you see what I mean.
The price of the Gainward BLISS 7600 GT is currently around $250 which is affordable for most gamers. If you've got a SLI capable motherboard, then it's a great investment, knowing that if the performance of a single GeForce 7600 GT card isn't enough then there's always the option buy another without worrying too much about the cost. Where as is if you bought yourself a single GeForce 7900 GTX, and later want to go SLI the cost of the additional GeForce 7900 GTX would not be worth it, in my opinion. All in all, the Gainward BLISS 7600 GT is a very capable card with good performance.
