The Inquirer reported that it didn't expect any AGEIA cards before May, as ASUS told us we'd have to wait for May to get them. But AGEIA's other exclusive partner BFG actually has PhysX cards in retail already. BFG is shipping the AGEIA PhysX Accelerator and you can buy this piece of marchitecture for £194. You only get a card for this money but it is still huge progress. The retail version is listed but still not available and it will cost slightly more, £218. We don't know what could you possibly do with this PhysX card as you won't be able to find any kind of content, at least not yet but you could always claim that you had one of the first ones.

Both BFG and ASUS will supply different versions coming with either 128MB or 256MB memory onboard. These cards are a kind of add-on card that will take care of all the physics processing needed in upcoming games. On the currently available games the physics are rather limited, but with the introduction of the AGEIA PhysX processor all that will change for future games with advanced physics. If you are a marchitecture freak and you want one of them, you can hope that you will have a few cool demos on the driver CD and go and buy this card. You can buy it while supplies last.
