Enhanced Performance

Since the e-GeForce 7800 GS performance really depends a lot as well on the performance of the system itself, we included some figures on what can be reached with a better CPU. For that we started overclocking our Intel P4 Prescott from 3.0GHz (with 200MHz HTT) to 3.25GHz, 3.4GHz and 3.5GHz.

Well... As you can see there is more potential in the EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GS video card and an ultra speedy processor certainly can unlock all of that. Now the heavy overclockers, I managed to overclock the e-GeForce 7800 GS CO SuperClock all the way upto 500/1500MHz, but it seems that after about 10 minutes of benchmarking the card is throttling down. With some extra cooling these speeds should definitly be reachable.

Final Thoughts

The EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GS CO SuperClock is a kick ass product! Hands down this card smokes the competition sitting still. The VPU offers blazing performance, excellent stability and overclocking headroom. The e-GeForce 7800 GS CO SuperClock hits a home run with MVKTech and it should be considered an excellent value for the performance and features. With the GeForce 7800 GS, NVIDIA has given AGP users a reason to celebrate.

With EVGA and its company commitment to bring the end user the best possible video card experience and customer support, you are sure to have a professional experience that is second to none. EVGA puts the consumer first and offers one of the best sales and support staff in the business. Each staff member is highly trained and very skilled at there responsibilities and you will get prompt professional help. EVGA leads by example and its products and support systems prove it time and time again.

If you have an AGP system that only needs a new graphics card to play the latest graphics intensive games, then the e-GeForce 7800 GS CO SuperClock is a great solution. Our experience with EVGA and the e-GeForce 7800 GS CO SuperClock product was top notch and the e-GeForce 7800 GS was easily installed and configured in our system. The performance was quite a surprise. Our game titles tested proved this card has what it takes to compete with the competition and then some. At the moment there is nothing faster in its segment. Anyone looking to make a purchase in the near future should consider this card.

With the amazing overclockable components and the shear power, this will arguably be the best purchase for the time being. The EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GS CO SuperClock performed above and beyond our expectations. However, the main benefit of the e-GeForce 7800 GS is that it provides a new choice, which allows existing AGP users with a fast CPU to upgrade their mid-range graphics card and extend the life of their system. I would definitely put this on my shopping list of upgrades and so should you! Well done EVGA!
