Power Up & Initial
Operation
On system power up the Speeze PSU glows blue do in part to the cooling fan. The 120mm
large fan has a blue LED that light up the inside of our case, while over all
the PSU offers low noise and looks good in our Cooler Master case with its
mirror like finish and blue LED cooling fan. I think the over all effect is
great looking, with the system up and running.

Let's start of with providing you all immediately with a view on
the exterior part of the Speeze PSU. The blueish glow lights up the back of our Cooler
Master case. But there is more than just the outside light emission. Namely the
interior aspect should also be considered. And although our Cooler Master case
doesn't come with a window side panel, we don't want to retain the inside
looks...

The interior of our case is enclosed by a soft blue haze. The
shiny polished finish of the Speeze RockeTeer 600W power supply amplifies this effect even
more by spreading the light in all directions. The crystal blue LED of the 120mm
silent fan brings this extra dimension to live. Speeze truly has added an extra dimension to this power supply
and surely some case modders will be very pleased with the crystal blue LED that
is included.

Yeah, indeed some more images just to give you even a better view
on the color palette that we saw while using the Speeze power supply. By trying to capture this I actually had
to take several shots but in the end I think I got this right so that you all
can enjoy the light and colorish view. Of course with some special memory
modules which would come with some LED's and so on this would even be more
impressive.

The PSU now has us at the Windows desktop and we can start a few
re-boot sequences and perform forced shut downs. Kind of stress test the PSU
using illegal shut down procedures just to see what kind of stability the PSU
can handle. We will test these procedures after we get some feedback on the
power rails, let's have a look...
