We got far too many emails about this matter to ignore it, and I guess it's time to revisit this story and fly some direct questions nVidia's way, again.
 Geforce 6800 still lacks HW video support
If you read this thread on nV News, you will see that there is a big chance that video processing fuctions will never work in nVidia 6800 cards. It should work fine on 6600, 6200 and other cards but not on 6800 series.
If you are into video you won't like this, that's for sure. We're asking nVidia what gives
