We have been notified about the long awaited update of the Radeon BIOS Tuner (RaBiT) software. This tool allows users to fine tune the ATI Radeon BIOS. RaBiT is the original and definitive BIOS tweaker that supports the latest ATI graphics cards, and which is updated on regular basis. RaBiT allows graphics card enthusiasts, or the hardcore overclockers to have full control over advanced features and functionality found on firmware of supporting cards. Allowing the users to gain some extra performance, enable certain hidden features, tweak memory latencies, provide extensive information and/or get extra stability on their ATI based graphics accelerators.
Radeon BIOS Tuner (RaBiT) v1.4.0 Software
Changes in this Version - Memory type definition (DDR/SDR) is corrected.
- Chipset type now is determined on DeviceID.
- Memory bus width edit is disabled (ROM BIOS practically always will reprogram it).
- The parameter tCas is edited in 'SDRAM Mode Register' too.
- The changes now are may be canceled on the 'Esc' key (Works in Clocks and Timings pages).
- Possibility Real-Time Timings testing mode.
- Possibility to disable and to restore (disabled) VIVO/AIW of the function.
- Possibility to edit the list of connectors map (TV, DVI).
- Output Memory and Core clocks for X800 BIOS.
- Output low level information about system ATI - videocard.
I think a lot if users wanted to get the X800 BIOS's to work in the new version which is the case, but still a modification of the Memory and Core clocks is missing... Well no panic, I guess Jaz will do his best to add that in an upcoming version. |
