The Cool-Matic NV45 Continued...

Wow! Excellent looks, state of the art CNC machining and German engineering produces this true enthusiast piece of hardware for the few who seek the best in everything. The Cool-Matic is almost in a class by its self, giving the user an "all-in-one" cooler. Like we said before, to be able to cool the memory, GPU and voltage regulators with one water block is a milestone in creativity. No need for additional ram sinks and hassle with thermal epoxy's and compounds, this is a all in one bolt in solution.

With one card out of the way we can start prepping the second GPU for the second Cool-Matic. Just as before we carefully disassembled the second card and started the installation procedures all over again. Again we did a foot print test and got even better results, so we went ahead and put our premium liquid metal thermal conducting laminate on the GPU, memory and voltage transformers. Now we can install the GPU pad and start the fastening process.

With everything on hand in the second card was even easier to install, having already installed one Cool-Matic makes the process faster. If you note up at the picture above - you will see red and black wire, that is the LED lighting system that will make the transparent blue Cool-Matic's glow an ice blue color which we will examine later on.

BAM! Both cards are almost finalized, all we have to do now is put on the mounting brackets and the water block spigots which are 8 x 1 elbow compression fittings with one end having 1/4" BSPT threaded fittings. These will be attached to the Innovatek Cool-Matic's. These are a common connector that Innovatek uses for a lot of there cooling products and is metric in nature, but compatible with standard size tubing.

Out with the old and in with the new! Our old dual slot brackets are being 86'd for new single slot brackets, so we can take advantage of the single slot design. Sure we can run a dual slot bracket, but why? Our cards are no longer dual slot GPU's and what better way to compliment the cards that with a single slot bracket, so bracket hunting we will go!
