Eheim HPPS Plus - 12V Pump

The Innovatek HPPS Plus 12V Pump (based on the Eheim) is the upgraded and improved flagship pump from Innovatek. It is a power boost and performance upgrade upon the design of the original HPPS 12V Pump that has been used and relied upon by the thousands. The 20% improvement in the pump's discharge head puts it at an impressive 2.05 meters (6.7 feet). Even with the power increase it still only consumes 3 Watts of power to operate. This pump is designed for use with Innovatek CPU blocks and reservoirs. The Innovatek Plug-On Reservoirs are designed to mate with this pump with no extra parts.

Features

  • More Power, with a clear increase of the pumping power and enough pressure for even the largest water cooling systems (better than the Eheim 1048)
  • Improved oscillation recognition with an automated restart and quick start feature
  • Genuine 12V system, no high voltages inside the pump
  • Revised motor system, enormous increases in efficiency
  • Designed for constant running and extreme reliability, and to operate amazingly quiet
  • Genuine 12V operation, no high voltage cables inside your PC

The pump of the kit is the most notable part of it. Innovatek re-worked and adjusted an Eheim 1046 pump to be ideal for PC water-cooling, modifying and improving many of its functions and its performance. The Innovatek HPPS Plus pump is the result. The pump is powered by a 12V Molex coming from your PC, so there is no need for external power. It features a full ceramic bearing which makes it exceptionally silent and very reliable.

When looking at the Innovatek HPPS Plus 12V Pump we can see that it is still labeled with the Eheim brand name. The blue butt is what Innovatek has designed to make this Eheim water pump work at DC power instead of the standard AC powered Eheim model. So it is actually getting powered by the PSU from your PC.

The items lay out next to each other from the Innovatek bundle, the HPPS Plus pump in the middle with the removable feet. You will also get a bottle with Innovatek Protect IP, which is a low-resistance anti corrosion additive. It will add no color to the water, keeping it entirely clear, and will not restrict the water flow, neither creates the thin colored wall on every component that additives usually make.
