System Boot-Up & Initial Operations

And now the moment you have all been waiting for. The initial startup of the Innovatek equipped MVKTech system. If all goes well we should have one of the most quiet systems you can find and it should give some decent emission of light throughout the computer case. So let's just check the first impressions together on how the MVKTech rig comes to life...

You want to know my first thoughts? Impressive... I have no words for it. Mmm, I guess I do after having stared at it for about 5 to 10 minutes. Lights all around, blue, yellow, purple, red, orange, green... I just love it! The complete Thermaltake case is filled with light and gives it a nice touch. What more do you want?

The Thermaltake Armor case includes a blue 120cm fan that is purple looking because of the red LED's that are on the AN8 SLI. The blue and red colors are mixing and we get pinks and purples out of it. Quit colorful in deed. The ABIT main board has a red PCB which sheds light on the surrounding areas of the layout. On top of that we have used the Corsair EXPERT memory modules that also features red LED's to provide extra information and at each side a blue LED just finishes it off.

And what about the Cool-Matic NV45 coolers? As we already mentioned Innovatek had sent us those that come with a blue LED. Well each of our cards equipped with the Cool-Matic lives up to my expectations. A bluish glow is emitted from each of them. On top of that we also see yellow/green light coming from each of our GeForce 6800 Ultra cards. This is actually a LED that comes standard with the GeForce 6800 Ultra VGA cards, it's just a power on self test indicator LED.

And what about the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU cooler? We have gotten the one with the blue transparent plastic coating and a blue LED. The LED's are strategically placed and give of a blue glow where the tubes are fitted to the i-Cool Rev4.0 cooler. Innovatek couldn't have done a better job, due to this each tube is enlighten with a soft blue light. Around the CPU spot, the ABIT main board provides a nice counter red light, which is emitted by the red PCB.

Well, there you have it, the Innovatek-o-rized MVKTECH rig. Featuring some of the neatest cooling innovations on the planet. I wish I had some extra UV tubes, the tubing is UV reactive in blue and would make the tubes look totally sick. Anyway now it's off to test this puppy and see what is up with all this bling.
