Up Close & Personal The Innovatek water cooling system is amazing to say the least. At this point I am so impressed with these products, I cant wait to see other Innovatek products in the future. After all, if they are good enough for Gainward and EVGA's BlackPearl as an OEM water cooled graphics cards, then they will suite anyone with desire to own such kick ass products.
Let's reveal a closer shot on the dual GeForce 6800 Ultra plugged into the pair of PCI Express slots on our ABIT AN8 SLI main board. This clearly shows that the Innovatek Cool-Matic NV45 doesn't take up a lot of space and fits like a single slot cooling. Both Cool-Matic water cooling kits are interconnected throughout the cooling circuit. The bluish insert gives already an impression on the lighting capabilities.
An close-up on the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU cooler fits our AMD Athlon processor and the retention system like a work of art. The retaining system is making sure the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU cooler remains stable and holds his place. The maximum contact pressure is always reached by the use of optimal material and well designed attachment technologies with absolute safety in mind for the CPU. Taking a closer look at the CPU retention mechanism one can see the red & black LED power leads. This is what will feed the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU cooler with amazing color effects which you will get to see on the following page. Now we will check out the hard drive situation.
Here we have the HD-O-Matic MICRO II 3.5" Hard drive Cooler in it's new home with coolant charging throughout the water circuits. All we have to do now is attach the Serial ATA power cables and this set up will be complete. Because we utilized most of the front 5.25" bay area for the 240er radiator, we had another alternative to installing the HDD in this optional HDD cage that is part of the Thermaltake Armor case and chassis design.
The background reveals the 240er radiator and Eheim HPPS plus pump and the Cool-Matic's plumbing. All we have to do now is, install our power supply unit inside the case and rig this test bed up for a live fire exercise. Thermaltake sponsored the 520 Watt Power Station PSU for this review and now its time to install it and fire the entire system up. Keep your fingers crossed! Hehe...
