i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler

Taking the proven Rev3.0 technology and making it better, the Innovatek i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler has matured into a world class performance CPU cooler. With the new solid copper core, increased mass and surface area, combined with excellent flow characteristics, the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler is more than perfect for our configuration. The i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler is sold separately in an assortment of colors as shown below.

The i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler that we received with the Innovatek SET R4D (Universal) Water Cooling Kit came in blue. This by chance, is a perfect color for our blue and silver color scheme. The revolutionary design of the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler ensures premium performance and stylish looks at the same time. You can even stuff blue LED's into the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler giving off a totally cool night time effect, radiating the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler into a Ice blue color.

Up close, the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler utilizes 8 mm I.D. (inner-diameter) and 10 mm O.D. (outer-diameter) stainless steel fittings. The special plastic housing offers optimal corrosion resistance in connection with the copper core from very pure electrolytic copper clad and machined to exact tolerances to ensure the best possible wash area. The wash area is the area between the polycarbonate plastic housing and the solid copper core; which is where the water flows.

The side view on the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler reveals the bottom copper cooling plate protection removable slip. During shipment of the Innovatek SET R4D Water Cooling Kit this will protect the surface from getting scratched. As you know a nice polished surface will guide heat more efficiently throughout the cooling block.

Another view on the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler shows that the copper cooling block is completely shielded by the bluish plastic coating. This provides an extra protection on the copper water block. And well if I say so myself, I find the blue coating making it a more attractive cooling block then when it would just be the copper view.

You can even stuff blue LED's into the i-Cool Rev4.0 CPU Cooler giving off a totally cool ce blue color for a really nice night time effect. The LED's are sold seperately and available from Innovatek and or your local distributors. We will take a look at this feature later on, first lets check out the huge twin 12cm radiator.
