Feedback & Performance For your confidence and understanding we at MVKTECH are going to use RightMark Memory Analyzer v3.58 and get some feedback on what it reports. Using an "Out-of-the-box" approach, this is strickly a review on stock numbers. stuffing the OCZ PC-3200 1024MB Gold GX XTC Edition Dual Channel Kit into our motherboard was as easy as removing the modules from the box, installing them into a default system and turning it on and loading up RMMA. Loading up to Windows dekstop, we opened up RMMA and took a couple of screen shots for you, this is what we got.
Here we can see a we are running a OCZ DDR-400 (PC-3200) at a HTT of 200MHz with a 64bit data width and a single module size of 1024MB. A CL of 2.5-3-3-8, just as reported by the system BIOS. And we confirm the ram we are using is indeed the OCZ PC-3200 1024MB Gold GX XTC Edition with a part No. of OCZ4001024ELGEGXT.
Well this ram looks good on paper but what about right now performance? Well I will reboot the system to freshen it up a bit and leave all the processes running in the back ground - 28 in all.And now I will run an express test and then bench mark the floating point input/output. Let's check it out...
This ram is super stable at DDR-400, just look at the performance test. The real ram bandwidth is averaging in at 2852.84 and its maximum is at 3066.85. This is a pretty tight margin especially when the read latencies are between 32% and 36%. This ram is faster at DDR400 than the the platinum ram we had last tested last month. Whenever you have great performance like this at a reduced price, it just sweetens the deal. Ya' know what I mean Vern?

Our results show that OCZ PC-3200 1024MB Gold GX XTC Edition is performing above and beyond some of the Platinum series scores we seen last month. This ram is super stable and shows it in these scores. The performance at DDR-400 (PC-3200) HTT - 200 MHz is better than the Platinum series. End of story! So now what? Well you get Platinum series performance at default settings for a Gold series cost. Can't beat that!
