Performance & Functionality

After using these pads for almost a month now, I find both are equally as impressive and very responsive. The surfaces are the best in the business and this allows our input device we are using to glide and feel smooth in action. Even under heavy combat the input device responds to the texture with amazing tracking and accuracy. We will now set up the gaming surface and configure our mousing surface with Cord Clip. NOTE - When making the loop, the portion of the cord leading to the mouse should lay on top of the portion of the cord leading to the computer - as shown in the picture below.

The sUrface1030™ Archetype is definitely a milestone in evolution and I am glad to see the fUnc team do the impossible, take the best gaming surface and make it better! I kid you not, if anyone can argue with this products performance and craftsmanship then feel free to challenge my statements. Nothing on the planet can touch this gaming surface in terms or shape, size, performance and stability. Now we will test these babies out, amazing control and tracking is the first thing I noticed, the extra size is well worth the real estate. These pads are awesome to say the least.

I like the soft-feel plastic version as a matter of personal reasons and its mainly cosmetic reasons. I like the black color and the soft feel of the plastic base component. It's called plastic, but it looks and feels like rubber. It maintains a rigid plastic like resistance to flexing, but feels like soft rubber and I find that amazing and very comfortable to work with. Choosing a surface for either my 2D environment or 3D gaming is made easy with the new sUrface1030™ Archetype. I happen to like using the rough side for gaming and the smooth side for everyday tasks. The rough side gives my gaming performance the style and feel that I like. I tried both sides and prefer the rough side for gaming, that works for me.

The MBA model is handsome and rugged. The lightweight billet design is state of the art and looks astonishing. The MBA is the same size and feel of the soft-feel plastic counterpart but with a brushed aluminum finish. Both models are equally lightweight and provided us with easy setup and performance. One thing I noticed was the cold feeling of the billet aluminum. The MBA base component frame or edges are cold to the wrist and arm when moving around the real estate area.

Other than that, I can’t complain about it, but I did notice it while I was gaming. Over all this is one heck of a great setup, its nice to see mouse pads catching up to the times. Our gaming exerience was top notch all the way. Once we set up the sensetivity and dialed in our configuration, the sUrface1030™ Archetype offered amazing looks and performance.
