Up Close & Personal (Cont.) Flipping back to the front side we get another shot of the sUrface1030 Archetype logo's and surface textures. I took these shots outside under the sun, in hopes to get more detail on the textures and craftsmanship. We can clearly see the low profile base component and surface components in there operational configuration. The sUrface1030 Archetype looks sweeeeet!
Below we can see a better shot illustrating both the 10.S & 30.R. The 30.R is on top of the 10.S in the picture below. Remember each surface is double sided to utilize for any occasion, since we have both the Soft-Feel Plastic and Machine Billet Aluminum versions, seeing the difference in one picture is really easy. Click on the image below to maximize the size to 800 x 600 to get a closer look between the two textures.
Again we see both gaming surfaces next to each other, choosing which one to use is not an easy task, it boils down to looks, if you like the Soft-Feel Plastic or the Machine Billet Aluminum (MBA). I like them both, but the problem is I cant use both at one time, hehe, so I have decided on the Soft-Feel Plastic for my cosmetic needs. Since my monitor, tower, keyboard and desk are black, the black Soft-Feel Plastic sUrface1030 Archetype has found a permanent home on my desktop.
From the inventors of the first double sided mousing surface to the innovators of the industry, the sUrface1030 Archetype is destined to become the most popular gaming surface available. The low profile design is less than 1/8" tall while maintaining an 11.25" x 9" foot print. Both the Soft-Feel Plastic and MBA models are designed to provide a high level of traction, consistency and precision for optical and laser input devices.
Now we will integrate this product into our workstation. We will set up both pads and install the cord clip and see what gives with these new gaming surfaces, if the looks are anything like performance these things are going to eba big hit with the consumer. That's a fact.
