Up Close & Personal Right off the bat I noticed the trick looking clear bubble logo's on the upper top crest of the sUrface1030™ Archetype. Both Soft-Feel Plastic & the MBA incorporate this logo and this is the small details that I mentioned that stand out. But what does logo's and cosmetics have to do with performance? Nothing, to say the least, but the over all look of the sUrface1030™ Archetype is what set's these surfaces apart from the competition. Original sUrface1030 users are well aware of the performance, so what better way to take the best performing pad and turn it into one of the most handsome looking mass produced gaming surfaces known to man.
Your mouse pad plays an integral roll in effective communication between your optical or laser mouse and your computer. To achieve peak performance, your mousing surface must be consistent and provide precise tracking and control. fUnc Industries provides all these things by introducing these hot new gaming surfaces. With stylish looks and rugged reliability the new sUrface1030™ Archetype was designed and manufactured by gamers for gamers to achieve these goals. Incredible tracking, control and consistancy is possible with this setup. Let's get a close up of the main components.
Located at the right hand side of the base, also recessed, is an aluminum logo, depending on the base component this will indicate 1030 or MBA. fUnc Industries identifies its product with this these cool little emblems and it really completes the over-all picture and quality that goes into these surfaces. The over all size, design, look and feel is near perfection, these gaming surfaces have matured into what is most likely the best mouse pad ever made.
The lower right corner reveals the company logo and model type on both side of the texture component. They are light weight and durable. Although we do not recommend bending or stress testing the surface components to extreme situations, under normal conditions this gaming surface should last a life time if properly cleaned and maintained. Below we can see the clip component, let's check it out.
Here we get a look at the backside of both the Soft-feel Plastic & the MBA (Machine Billet Aluminum) and the recessed area for the cord clip. Thanks to the clever clip relief area integrated on both left and right sides of the base components, both left and right handed users will benefit from the clip by allowing the cord clip to attach to the left or right side of the gaming surface.
