Sapphire Radeon X800 XT PCIe Review
Written by Mavke

It seems also ATI-News has published a review, the have taken a look at the Sapphire Radeon X800 XT PCIe. Since XGInVidia and ATI are now releasing their high-end PCI Express graphic cards based on the 6800 and X800 respectively.

ImageSapphire Radeon X800 XT PCIe Review

With the Sapphire X800 XT our test system accumulates a new maximum output. The Radeon X800 XT is ATI's counterpart to the nVidia GeForce 6800 GT and is also with some dealers already available for approx. 500 euro. nVidia's PCX GeForce 6800 series is still taking some time to get to become widely available. Thus this might and up that the high high-end PCI express systems will almost exclusively use the ATI graphics cards.

Sapphire's X800 XT is naturally exactly what we where expecting. Giving very decent scores on the benchmarks we performed and also including a nice software package. Who thinks the X800 XT is not fast enough, will still have to wait a few more days for Platinum edition, however as our experience shows, the difference of both X800 versions should be very small.
