Also K-Hardware has published their Leadtek WinFast A400 LE TDH Review. After nVidia presented its long-waited GeForce 6800-Series in April, short hand later also rumors emerged after a further, fourth variant in the net.

Up to the appearance of the GeForce 6600 GT in the AGP version the 6800 LE is a very interesting card. A we saw, the LE with its 8 pipelines reaches usually performance just below the 6600 GT, which scores better due to their higher clockrates. Sometimes the 6800 LE is even faster than the 6600 GT. Since the LE is just a 6800 with less pipelines, there might be more potential hidden within this card. Overclocking actually can positively shine on the LE. Overclocked to 375/910MHz it reached easy the performance of a normal 6800. With this fact it shows itself once more that pipelines are evenly not everything.
