Introduction

Sharkoon; we do not follow the trends, we set them. This is what the brand Sharkoon stands for with its products in the areas of gaming, modding, and storage solutions. In these days high expectations and requirements are made to the acoustic performance of modern computing. With the practically noise-free operation of its numerous silent products, Sharkoon meets the growing demand in this field with, for example, a range of power supply units and a line of low-noise high-performance CPU and system coolers.

Sharkoon came up with a new silent solution when it comes to fans, namely the Silent Eagle range. The Silent Eagle comes in 2 different versions, the Eagle 1000 and Eagle 2000 where the number stands for the rotation speed of the propeller. So what is so exciting about this new Silent Eagle 2000 and is it actually any different from many other silent fans on the market? Let's find out together...

The Silent Eagle 2000 comes in a package made of formed plactic with a removable cardboard back. In this it's actually a very decent package with a firm protection provided to the components included. The package itself has a nice grey color scheme and is very attractive. Not all fans are well protected and Sharkoon has made sure their package stands out in the crowd.

Sharkoon made sure that their product already makes a difference when you start comparing it with others. By adding the main advantages and specifications on the back of the removable cardboard it clearly indicates they want to make sure you know what you are buying and why... So why would you choose the Silent Eagle 2000 over any other fan out there? Well the fan blades are dimpled like a golf ball.

After sliding away the cardboard from the back of the plastic package we get a clear view on the content and the Eagle 2000 fan. The unique surface structure of the Silent Eagle, in comparison with conventional fans, allows an improved air flow with the same rotation speed.
