On HardwareLab.Ru the new ForSage Drivers where released. The current release is the ForSage v4.10, based on the ATI Catalyst 4.10 Drivers. This is an Alternative Driver for videocard using the ATI Radeon Graphic Chip ATI Radeon.

Features
- A Single Installation Package including only necessary Display Driver and
Integrated Control Panel components (optionally also ATI HydraVision)
- Small file size to download, achieved by removal of unnecessary components,
such as installers, WinME9x Driver/CP components and support files for 23
languages other than English and Russian
- Corrected Russian translation for the drivers Control Panel
- Ability to install the drivers
- Using SmartGart (ATI's tool for automatic testing and auto-setting the
transfer mode for the systems graphics bus)
- Without SmartGart (in order to avoid some problems that may arise on some
systems when installing ATI's drivers with SmartGart
- Using one single Property Sheet ("3D") for setting up Direct3D/OpenGL
- Using separate Property Sheets
- Support for all possible software modifications
- Radeon > Radeon
- FireGL > Radeon (for 9500/9700/9800 and FireGL X1/Z1/X2)
- Special optimizations are used according to cards characteristics as amount
of video memory and graphics memory bus bandwidth
- Softmods for unlocking the hardware-locked rendering pipelines
- Overclocking AntiProtection for the cards for which overclocking is
generally locked (namely Radeon 9000, 9200, 9600, 9700 non-PRO, 9500 PRO) based
on know-how of Alexey Nikolaychuk (the author of RivaTuner Graphics System
Tuning/Diagnostic universal utility and the patch scripts Soft9x00 & ATI
Overclocking Antiprotection)
- Experimental support for softmod of ATI's 3x0 VPU series based VGA cards
into Radeon 9800XT (based upon Unwinder's research). The patch script has been
provided by Bob Halton (Video Hardware Expert)
- Support for non-reference hardware frequency presets & other parameters,
allowed by ATI Overclocking AntiProtection and also forcing of device_id's in
the MiniPort Driver
- Support of professional ATI's FireGL Series Graphics Accelerators, allowing
to use game-optimized Catalyst Drivers
- Support of the 4-pipeline mode installation for the Radeon 9500/9800SE cards
with faulty extra pipelines generating visual artifacts
- Support for all ATI Mobility Series Radeon/FireGL chips
- Exact softmod/installation type description in the adapters identification
