Installation Procedure (Cont.) The Hiper PSU just fits like-a-glove in our Cooler Master case... Once the power supply is put in place, we get a good indication of the big air intake capabilities. By all means you want see me complaining, this will only be beneficial for the system. The more air that can circulate, the better the cooling and performance of all components will be in the end. I am for the Hiper approach!
Having stuffed the Hiper PSU in it's new home, we can go ahead and route the blue sleeved main power cable to the motherboard. Now we can get a pretty good idea of what to except when making the initial installation. With Hiper we get excellent looks, excellent modular cable system and great stability.
The above shows us a close-up on the OmniGrid™ System from the Hiper power supply after being installed into the Cooler Master case. Just see how nice the metallic blue steel shines like a mirror. This is definitely the best picture to emphasize on this lovely mirror effect. We can clearly see the reflection of the power cable and the aluminum grill from the top exhaust of the computer case.
A view from below, which reveals the 120mm steel protection grill and fan at the bottom of the power supply. Via this way the Hiper PSU sucks up the warm air from within the case and will then guide it through the PSU towards the exhaust exit. This air flow mechanism is an excellent way to reduce the heat throughout the PC and Hiper has implemented this through a very efficient way on the Type-R 580W power supply.
