Best Over Clock

Keeping the system with the same configuration, I fired up iTurbo and set the sliders to run the card at 525 MHz core using a 1125 MHz memory settings. This was about the highest clock rate we could run without artifacts. When pushing the card to 540 MHz / 1150 MHz we got significant artifacting and we decided to back it down till we found the sweet spot on our configuration. So with our HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo over clocked to 525/1125 MHz I ran Aquamark 3 once again and this is what we got.

Wow, 65,872 from a $189.00 USD card? This is a great deal and excellent performance for the money. I am sure with some additional tweaking and BIOS mods, this card can come up with some additional head room. I will play around with it and see if I can get this thing into the upper sixties. But for now with just simply installing the card and using iTurbo, you can rip off scores like these with no problems. I think you will have to agree this is a real value.

The MSRP on this card is $189.00 USD, however it maybe be slightly higher or lower depending on product supply and demand and the area in which you make you're purchase. Keep in mind MSRP means Manufacturers Suggested Retail Pricing, suggested being the keyword here. I suspect the cards performance will impact point of sales and while their is a current product re-supply underway, once this latest allocations hit the retail shelves, the demand will judge final pricing.

Final Thoughts

The X800 GT IceQ II Turbo is a kick ass product! Hands down this card smokes the competition sitting still. The VPU offers blazing performance, excellent stability and over-clocking headroom, while giving the end user some very interesting ultra violet eye candy. The X800 GT IceQ II Turbo hits a home run with MVKTECH and it should be considered an excellent value for the performance and features.

With HIS and its company commitment to bring the end user the best possible video card experience and customer support, you are sure to have a professional experience that is second to none. HIS puts the consumer first and offers one of the best sales and support staff in the business. Each staff member is highly trained and very skilled at there responsibilities and you will get prompt professional help. HIS leads by example and its products and support systems prove it time and time again. Ask anyone with a HIS card and most will tell you they don’t have issues or simply don’t need support at all, but for those who have needed their support, HIS gives the end user the support they deserve.

Our experience with HIS and the X800 GT IceQ II Turbo product was top notch and the X800 GT IceQ II Turbo was easily installed and configured in our system. The performance was quite a surprise. Our game titles tested proved this mainstream card has what it takes to compete with the competition and then some. At the moment there is nothing faster in its segment. Anyone looking to make a mainstream purchase in the near future should consider this card. With the amazing UV sensitive components and the shear power, this will arguably be the best purchase for the mainstream budget minded individuals for the time being.

The X800 GT IceQ II Turbo performed above and beyond our expectations. And for the fact this card runs so well, cost so little and allows easy installation and configuration, we are giving this card our editors choice award. This product offers excellence in the mainstream segment providing true value and offering huge performance for anyone on a tight budget.

The HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo rocks, it simply shreds the competition. With it's amazing performance, rock solid stability thanks to iTurbo, this card offers the best bang for the buck, no if's, and's or but's, end of story!

Special Thanks
