Overview The HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo is powered by ATI Radeon® X800 GT VPU - operating at a core speed of 500MHz. The HIS X800GT IceQ II Turbo comes fully equipped with 256MB-256bit quad-channel GDDR3 memory clocked at 1GHz. The mainstream card packs 8 parallel pixel pipelines and 6 vertex shader process engines. Supporting PCI-Express, the HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo radical new architecture ensures explosive high definition gaming and video processing experience.
Features & Specifications The HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo supports the latest cooling technology from HIS called IceQ II. The design takes hot air away from the VPU and ventilates it out of the read chassis on your gaming rig. This design helps in keeping the video card and inside ambient case temperatures lower than other designs on the market. In effect you can say you are also getting a high performance cooling system found on graphics cards using 3rd party cooling systems.
Features: R423 0.13um process Dual integrated display controllers Dual integrated 10 bit per channel 400 MHz DACs Integrated 165MHz TMDS transmitter (DVI 1.0 / HDMI compliant and HDCP ready) Integrated TV Output support up to 1024x768 resolution YPrPb component output for HDTV display connection Single and dual link external TMDS transmitter support for high resolution and/or multi-monitor DVI configurations DirectX® 9 and OpenGL® supported - Fast: HIS's intelligent Cooling technology automatically adjusts IceQII fan speed base on X800's loading and temperature to achieve best performance
- Quiet: Less than 20dB
- Cool: -11°C cooler than original cooling fan
- All Cool: Outstanding IceQII cooling performance extends the card life with UV Sensitive effect
- HIS delivers Faster, Cooler, Quieter plus the best quality product!
- Platinum packing with software bundle
- Professional customer service and technical support

Additional Specifications It might be wise to compare the Radeon X800 GT GPU settings with the other X800 chips that ATI is producing. The main differences will be situated around the pixel pipelines, core and memory speed parameters. Below we show a quick overview on these differences between the Radeon Series graphics chips. Video Processing Unit | Pipelines | Core Speed | Memory Speed | HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo | 8 | 500MHz - iTurbo | 500MHz - iTurbo | X800 GT | 8 | 475MHz | 490MHz | X800 | 12 | 400MHz | 350MHz | X800 PRO | 12 | 475MHz | 450MHz | X800 XL | 16 | 400MHz | 500MHz | X800 XT | 16 | 500MHz | 500MHz | | X850 XT | 16 | 520MHz | 560MHz | | X850 XT PE | 16 | 540MHz | 587MHz |
This clearly shows the HIS X800 GT IceQ II Turbo is operating at frequencies at the same speed levels as the Radeon X800 XT when using iTurbo. The X800 GT IceQ II Turbo shares the same R423 core as the big brother X800 XT so the potential power is their. Will it stack up against our comparison card? First, let's go see what is inside the retail box.
