3D Synthetic Benchmarks For these tests the ABIT AN8 SLI motherboard will be defaulted to system boot up. This means the CPU, memory and HT will be default as well. Now we will load up the NVIDIA ForceWare 81.95 and configure the SLI mode to run a SLI Multi-GPU Rendering Mode. Both GPU's are going to use stock timings with no over clocking. What you see is what you get. The 3DMark05 score is awesome! The ABIT AN8 SLI using our configuration and hardware, ran a very decent out of the box score. We broke well over 10,000 Marks and for this we are very pleased with the results. This shows the ABIT board is on top of its game and playing right along side the higher end products in terms of performance.

We all know Aquamark 3 (Massive Development) closed it doors, but after using this API for over 3 years I have come to appreciate the various systems we have used in gathering information about the performance with our hardware and because we are used to the scoring system in this utility we decided to use it for reference.
Not bad at all, the ABIT AN8 SLI used in conjunction with our two GeForce 6800 Ultra's in SLI mode kicks this score in the seat of the pants. This is really great out of the box performance, granted we are using an AMD X2 DualCore CPU, but none-the-less this is a real eye opener in deed. Over-all the AN8 SLI is a very impressive board and we are happy with the results we have seen here today.
