Analysis, Testing & Benchmarking Cont... With the ABIT AN8 SLI loaded up with a new OS and our test applications and synthetic benchmarking API's, we can now get to the bottom of this board and see what kind of performance we can expect to see right out of the box. Let's see what we got... CPU-Z v1.30 Moving on over to CPU-Z v1.30 we also get a little system information so you can see what several API's are reporting on. CPU-Z reports a 1.312 volts on the CPU, but in reality the ABIT AN8 SLI is defaulted the CPU Voltage at 1.400 volts. Never-the-less this is just a little margin of error from the CPUID detection engine.
Moving right along we got the system set at default using a FSB/HT of 200MHz utilizing a X 11.0 multiplier on a BH-E4 Manchester. The processor selection is the same for both Core 1 & Core 2, so we decided to just show you the one.
What more can we say about the fact we have a ABIT AN8 SLI motherboard. The nForce4 chipset is in SLI mode with the PCI-Express Link Width set an x8 because of the SLI configuration we are currently in. While under SLI Mode the PCI-Express but drops down to x8 so this is normal for those who are not aware of an SLI mode configuration.
The Corsair XPERT (CMXP512-3200XL) is currently stuffed in our ABIT AN8 SLI mother board with CL timings of 2-2-2-5. This is a 1024MB dual channel kit so we will have our ram in dual channel mode at a 1T timing so this thing can sizzle. Let's go hit up Everest and see what we get...
