PurePower TWV500 Series - ATX 12V 2.0 Version

Accessories
The TWV display module is an aluminum 5.25" drive bay controller allowing the user instantaneous display of the power consumption being utilized by the system. The TWV display module also has built in 2-channel rheostat control, allowing the control of the included 12 cm fan and allows you to control the 12 cm blue LED fan that's built into the power supply unit itself.

With a case fan controller and PSU fan controller, you can instantly adjust the right amount of cooling and control the level of noise at the same time. The controller will work on other fans provided you have the right connector.

The TWV display module comes complete with mounting screws and fits in most any 5.25" drive bay. Because of the very shallow design the controller in some cases can be installed in front of a HDD slot making the TWV display module very compatible and user friendly.

As part of the package Thermaltake includes a TT-1225A 12V DC, 0.40 amp, brushless 120 mm (12 cm) speed controllable fan. This fan has a RPM sending unit and a mini connector that is designed to specifically work with the TWV display module, allowing you to control the fan in real time.

Thermaltake makes sure you can mount your TWV display module and 12 cm speed controllable fan by including the fastening hardware consisting of four machine thread screws, four standard thread screws and four bolts, four washers and four nuts to complete the installation.

You will get 2 PCI-Express power connectors for systems that are configured for SLI configurations. This means right out of the box you will get dual 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors and 1 x 12V 6 to 4-pin motherboard power connector.

Thermaltake makes the connection process fast and easy with the connectors being labeled to makes sure you have the correct cable for the correct connection. The picture above clearly shows the stamped labels, showing exactly what goes where.

Also included is the cable set that includes the 12V 4-pin power connectors for other peripherals devices that require a 4-pin power connector such as aftermarket parts like fans, pumps and DVDRW/CDRW and some older IDE HDD compliant hard drives that require a 12V 4-pin power source.

Connect up to four SATA devices with the included 5-pin Serial ATA power connectors. You will get plenty of use out of these cables if you utilize RAID configurations that require multiple hard drives.

Thermaltake brought to my attention that this main power cord is in deed 24-pin compatible. The main power connector is split which is designed for both 20 and 24-pin compatible motherboards. This is a unique design that thru-me a curve ball, at first we where under the impression this was a 4-pin power source.
The extra little connector you see at one end of the main power connector cable is the split power design. If you need a 20-pin cable you simply leave the small 4-pin connector, un-connected.
