Each of the surface textures, as we mentioned, has a specific Ra
parameter that has demonstrated the best response in Func Industries group of testing.
Ra or Roughness average is an algorithm that measures the distance between the
peaks and valleys on the surface of the material. This equation equals to the
two surfaces available and the difference between them.

F30.R
The F30.R features the surface texture 30.R (rough): a medium textured surface geometry based on a specially
selected moderate Ra parameter and is popular with those who prefer the feel of
mousing on a textured surface.

F10.s
The F10.s features the surface texture 10.s (smooth): a fine
textured surface geometry based on a specially selected low Ra parameter and is
popular with those who prefer the feel of mouse on a smooth surface. Below we
see the F30.R on top of the F10.s revealing the texture
differences.

The texture differences appear to be a part of the polycarbonate
surface liner. Just underneath the liner is an underlining pattern in which we
see through the transparent polycarbonate surface. The textured synthetic rubber
pattern is covered with the transparent polycarbonate surface giving the over
all surface texture look and feel. If you look closely at the orange and silver
Func logo, you can see the texture differences in greater detail.
