Up Close & Personal
Here we can see the size differences, between the 11" x 14" and
11" x 17" offerings. The smaller of the two is more than enough real estate for
our needs but for those who require a larger space to operate your mouse you can
settle for the much bigger 11" x 17" size format. These hi-performance pads are
made of rubber and are flimsy to the touch. The actual texture reminds me of a
basketball and up close the differences of the two textures can be seen and
felt.

These competition surfaces do not use metal frames or alloy
construction like other products out on the market. The Func Industries F-Series are
rubberized and can be rolled up like a news paper, while not recommended, they
are rubberized and very flexible. The surfaces are extremely thin and very low
profile, aiding in comfort when using the F-Series by offering
excellent traction and keeping the surface secured in place under extreme
use.

The F-Series traction performance is maintained even when in
contact with dusty surfaces and environments. This might be appealing to the CAD
operators who might need a precision surface while in the work place were
contact and control under adverse conditions are essential. While these pads are
exceptional for gaming they are just as well suited to the work environments as
well.

We can see the
front surface side of the 11" x 14" and the backing of the 11" x 17" synthetic
rubber as compaired to the front surface. This design offers excellent traction
with the integration of the synthetic rubber non-slip backing.

The synthetic rubber non-slip backing displays outstanding resistance to movement, temperature changes and variety of
conditions and desktop surfaces. Dusty environments is no match for the
synthetic rubber non-slip backing, this pad stays put! Clicking the above images
will give you close-ups of the synthetic rubber backing.
