The Diamondback Plasma Limited Edition
We already introduced the Diamondback
Plasma Limited Edition, now are going to take a close look with some hi-res
photographs and get you guys and gals all up in this high precision gaming mouse.
In using this mouse one has to think of high precision operation and that effectively
causes you to re-think your technique and mouse habits. In effect you will have
to re-train yourself to use a mouse of this speed and accuracy. With the Razer
Precision optics your hand movements are greatly reduced and the travel distance
is a much smaller area. Let's go ahead and take further look into the Diamondback
Plasma Limited Edition. Starting off with the top of the chassis, and connector.

The Diamondback
Plasma Limited Edition is made to the same strict
tolerances as the original Diamondback series incorporating seven buttons, which
are easily configured and independently programmable for user convenience. The
USB compliant device is finished with a gold connector to ensure precise connections
and operations. The data-transfer has a bandwidth path of 16 bits, twice that
of conventional high performance input devices so a good connection is essential.

The finger pads are big and spacious with a tactile feel buttons.
The transparent housing is smoked black injection molded chassis that allows
viewing of the electronics stashed inside. With the Ice blue light illuminating
from the inside out, the Plasma Limited Edition is visually stunning mouse as
we will see below. The Diamondback
Plasma Limited Edition has a total of seven buttons that are independently
programmable, four of which are located on each side of the mouse, expanding
the pictures below will give you a glimpse.

Flipping the carcass over, we can see the zero acoustic Teflon feet designed
for smooth motion over any surface and used in conjunction with the eXactMat,
you will have serious input precision to add the gaming arsenal. With this
setup, your frag rates should increase in no time. These zero acoustic pads are
formed in a delta configuration and are considerably
thick.
What really makes this mouse unique is the method chosen for
optics. Razer was not only one of the first to be bold enough to release a
1600dpi mouse, but have taken it a step further with the Diamondback Plasma,
adding the first ever infrared optical sensor for optics powered by Razer
Precision. No more red glow emanating from the bottom of the
mouse.

Man does this mouse look tight, the cobalt blue lighting is sweet looking
giving off a nice blend of color over light intensity. The LED inside the mouse
is bright, but it is not offensive. Some input devices that utilize LED's inside
them are so bright that the LED can send direct light to your eye impairing
vision and disrupting your concentration while in game. This is not the case
with the Diamondback Series or the Plasma Limited Edition. This mouse has a
perfect balance of looks and lighting.
