Introduction
Mushkin just kicked off a new series of High Performance DDR modules called the REDLINE series. The REDLINE series is available in two models, the High Performance & eXtreme Performance modules that reduces the memory bottleneck created when overclocking. These modules are manufactured for the extreme enthusiast, who over volt there ram to extreme levels, for the ultimate performance.
Designed around the needs of the high performance enthusiasts, the REDLINE series is setting new standards with there latest in DDR technology. HP REDLINE series are well suited for the extreme over-volter who seeks the ultimate performance in both AMD and Intel platforms.
Offering extremely low latencies at extremely high front side bus speeds is what REDLINE is all about. If you are an entry level user or an experienced veteran the REDLINE series suites the end user who seeks the best performance possible for the least amount of money and the REDLINES do just that!
On the performance side to things, the REDLINE series offers something for everyone who is looking for the best bang for the buck. Manufactured to 9001 ISO and JEDEC standards, these modules will run circles around conventional DDR with exceptional quality and manufacturing techniques that facilitate the extreme performance these modules can dish out.
The REDLINE series has specifically tuned and tweaked printed circuit boards, optimized to run best on the DFI NF4 platforms. It just so happens we have the DFI LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR motherboard and we are going to test these bad boys out. Let's have a look...

The REDLINE XP & HP series is also known as AMD Athlon64 & DFI friendly. These modules provide maximum potential and perform the best when severely over volted and used in conjunction with DFI AMD boards such as the DFI LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR mother-board. While performing excellent when used with other platforms, the DFI systems using this ram will explode with blazing speed and stability.

The modules we are reviewing today are the (991441) HP3200 2-3-2 REDLINE 2.7V 2 x 512MB. These modules are slick and look great sporting their red anodized heat spreaders. The black PCB is extremely tuned to handle eXtreme amounts of over volting. These modules can handle more than 3.5 volts with eXtremely tight timings at higher overclocks.

The Mushkin HP3200 REDLINE modules come encased in red aluminium heat spreaders, which are different from the usual black aluminium ones we are used to seeing. The heat spreaders are rugged, double clamped and interlocked for proper contact with the intergrated circuits and do a great job of spreading the thermal load.

The Mushkin HP3200 REDLINE DDR4 modules are manufactured using a black color printed circuit board. PC3200 is equal with DDR400, which means the memory speed is able to run at 400MHz at default. On the label of the aluminum heat spreader, it states the specifications of the memory, like the model number, the speed, and the timing and size.

The HP3200 REDLINE eliminates the memory as a potential bottleneck when overclocking. THE REDLINE MEMORY MODULES ARE DESIGNED TO RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES UP TO 3.5V AND SUFFICIENT COOLING IS A REQUIRED.

Active Cooling Required *----Due to the extreme speed of these modules along with the added voltages used, Mushkin requires end users to Actively cool their memory modules. Modules that are not properly cooled will/may not meet rated timings and speeds, and may become susceptible to premature failure. We generally recommend 15-25cfm of direct airflow over the ram modules which can be easily accomplished with one 60mm or 80mm low rpm fan. This will insure increased stability and lifespan of your Redline modules.

The modules look slick, sporting anodized red heat spreaders, black printed circuit boards. The PCB is a 6 layer wafer design, highly tuned and optimized for ultra high performance.
