The Product:
The OK 800 5.1 channel surround sound heaphones is a real 5.1 channel high performance heaphone that represents PC digital audio singal into Hi-Fi sound quality featuring eight electro-dynamic micro speakers for surround sound realism. Fully adjustable ear pods with free swiveling fulcrum points and sliding extensions fit most ages.

The OK800 provides a built-in AC97 decoder so the computer does not need a sound card - just a USB connector, which provides both power and audio-in. The driver software runs on Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 or XP. The headphones are completely adjustable, lightweight allowing the user to wear these for extended periods.

The power switch and indicator light is conveniently located on the rear left ear pod. Also on the left side of the ear pod is the microphone input. The headband and ear muffs are very soft leather type construction that is very comfortable on the ears and brain box.

The over all design is very sleek and intellgent. The headphones are lightwieght, innovative and generally look and feel like a professional headphone. Each ear pod has power cables that are attached to a cable that is appoximately 1 meter in length. The power LED is very bright maybe even a little to bright, anyone standing behind you will get lit up pretty good.

The OK 800 comes with an integrated microphone for VoIP applications. Using the USB to mini-stereo jack converter will allow users to use these headphones as a general purpose headphone set turning these into a stereo headphone.
Here we can see the quad speaker system of each ear pod, notice how close together the speakers are. The configuration is small and compact but what does the performance and spatial sound quality sound like? Read on and we shall find out.

The OK 800's are printed on both sides to indicate the left and right channels, make no mistake on which side is which with the OK 800's. Attaching the boom mic, is as easy as inserting the microphone into the mini jack as shown above.
