Featured Bundled Game Title:

Our bundle included the smash 2004 hit game title Hitman:Contract’s, so we are going to load this game up on the 925X-T2 and take a look at the performance of the Radeon X800XL using the bundled software. I played this game last year and enjoyed the story and game play, let's take a look at how the PowerColor X800XL plays this title.

Installing the game and using setup defaults for base line performance, the only thing we changed for the benchmarks where the resolutions. Everything else was left in a stock default configuration, for that out of the box performance testing procedures, to facilitate that real world experience upon installation.

800 x 600 , Application Preferences, (High) 85.000 FPS Cap

1024 x 768, Application Preferences, (High) 77.683 FPS Average

1280 x 1024, Application Preferences, (High) 49.850 FPS Average

Hitman:Contract's will not run any faster than 85.000 FPS and this is because the game is frame capped, so that the timeline will not be effected by infinite frames. So the end result is this card pushes this game title to its limits at lower resolutions and runs this game smooth and stable at any configuration. You can expect this title to run flawlessly at any resolution using the PowerColor X800XL.
