The DFI & PowerColor configuration runs exceptionally well on this test bed and our benchmarks and performance reflects that fact. The game was truly amazing with image quality vibrancy almost second to none. Anyone using this configuration will enjoy FarCry at a new level of enjoyment with or without PS3.0 support. End of story!

800 x 600, Application Preferences, (High) 106.633 FPS Average
When we look back at the Intel Test Rig results we can spot immediately the difference... Yep, the PowerColor X800XL loves the AMD power and the results speak for themselves, a big increase in frame rates.

1024 x 768, Application Preferences, (High) 104.800 FPS Average

1280 x 1024, Application Preferences, (High) 93.017FPS Average These benches are ran under the same 4.11 Catalyst and same default installations as Test Rig No.1 the only difference of course is the hardware which offers very similar performance in single card configuration. Of course the AMD Athlon64 3500+ kicks some serious butt, so we can definitely see some advantages to this platform. Having used both Radeon X800 & Geforce 6800 Series on this game I can truly say that this game responds to the Radeon in ways that makes the game come alive with fine detail and enhanced game play. The image quality is amazing and performance under this configuration is outstanding!
