Corsair Memory Dashboard v1.00:

Memory Dashboard is designed to run under the Windows XP operating system. As it is a very compact application, it does not require any minimum memory amount, and requires less than 5MB of disk space. With Memory Dashboard you have instant control over the entire display and it's settings. Program custom messages, display times and more. Gain control of each display bank and program independent values and measurements.

In the Corsair XMS XPERT package you will find a CD which is labeled Memory Dashboard. This software is key to the XPERT's memory customization and usefulness. With this, Corsair becomes the first manufacturer of overclocker friendly memory modules to supply its products with special software to control the display modules.

Memory Dashboard will provide diagnostic feedback on memory characteristics, regardless of the type of memory used by the system. However, in order to take advantage of the software's more advanced features, it must be used in conjunction with Corsair's XPERT series of advanced modules.

Corsair Memory Dashboard allows users equipped with XPERT memory modules to monitor many memory parameters, such as voltage, temperature, frequency, and memory activity level. It also allows users to customize how these parameters are displayed on the LED display of the XPERT modules. Let's check out Memory Dashboard...
Basically I installed 2 Gigs of ram to see if Memory Dashboard would indeed see other ram types and or interfere with standard operations. Our analysis proves that Memory Dashboard works perfect with standard ram and EXPERT ram running together. Our test show’s that Memory Dashboard identifies other modules and works fine with 1 or 2 gig configurations.
While you will not get temperature, voltage and other sensor readings on non supported ram, you will not have to worry about Memory Dashboard having issues with other ram types.
Memory Dashboard with 2 and 4 socket configuration
With Memory Dashboard you have full control over the display modules. Memory Dashboard also allows you to see your rams specifications in realtime under the operating system environment. You will be able to set what parameters are displayed and for how long, in any order your prefer along with customizing your own scrolling and static messages. Here is an example of how to do this:

Memory Dashboard Options and configuration
If you look at the above pictures in expanded view (click picture above) you will notice the custom message I have entered. The results can be viewed by clicking this file corsair_xpert_b.mov or by clicking the movie file below (Corsair Quick Time Video)
Custom text messages can be displayed on the XPERT modules. These messages are displayed in static text if they are ten characters or less in length, and in scrolling text if they are longer than ten characters. The module is capable of displaying up to three customized messages of up to 23 characters in length.
The Frequency value can be displayed in three formats:
- The default is to display the frequency in megahertz (MHz), i.e. 200.0 MHz.
- The frequency can be displayed in "DDR rating" format, i.e. DDR400. The DDR rating is equal to the actual frequency multiplied by 2.0.
- The frequency can be displayed in "JEDEC PC bandwidth" format, i.e. PC3200. The JEDEC bandwidth is equal to the actual frequency multiplied by 16.0.
*Note* Memory Dashboard will provide diagnostic feedback on memory characteristics, regardless of the type of memory used by the system. However, in order to take full advantage of the software's more advanced features, it must be used in conjunction with Corsair's XPERT series of advanced modules.

Corsair has again outdone themselves by providing extra software that will enhance the use of the Corsair XMS XPERT memory. You will get full control over the display modules using Corsair Dashboard. Control display timings, display speed and text. See first hand the voltages, temperatures, frequencies all in real time and without synthetic software.
